Thunder Against the Spread | OKC Looks Good as Slight Home Underdog to Hawks

OKC actually opened up as a 1-point favorite in this matchup, but they have since gone up and down to finally settle as a slight underdog. I believe these two teams are pretty evenly matched, despite the fact that the Hawks have an advantage in their frontcourt. Regardless, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has played like a top-10 player this season, and I think he will look like the best player on the court tonight. I’m taking OKC to win this one.

OKC Thunder | Game #48 Preview: Atlanta Hawks

OKC looks to stay hot on Wednesday night as they host the Atlanta Hawks, who have lost two in a row after winning 5 straight. The Hawks currently sit in 8th place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 24-24 record, just a half-game ahead of the Indiana Pacers, but a game and a half behind the New York Knicks.

Thunder Against the Spread | Expect Plenty of Points in Atlanta

This is a tough one. OKC is playing pretty good basketball; even when they lose, it’s close. Atlanta has looked very back and forth, but with a talented backcourt of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray, they matchup well with OKC. I think this will be a fun close game.

Oklahoma City Thunder: Game #76 Preview | Atlanta Hawks

The Oklahoma City Thunder picked up a 134-131 overtime win on Monday in Portland against the Trail Blazers, a puzzling move whenever you’re technically TRYING to lose in an attempt to finish with the best lottery odds at the top overall pick. Even with a diminished roster, the Thunder continues to stay competitive, but that “accidentally winning” likely won’t be a problem tonight as the short-handed Thunder hosts the Atlanta Hawks.

Thunder Against The Spread | The Under Seems Imminent But What About The Spread At Atlanta?

Atlanta is outscoring opponents by an average of 115.6-104.1 at home this season which is a margin that’s right at the 11.5 margin for tonight. OKC is riding a hot hand against the spread right now, covering in eight of the last ten games, and that’s a good reason to stick with them again tonight.

Thunder Against The Spread | Feeling Really Good About The Under

Oklahoma City didn’t get off to a great start on this road trip with a 123-102 loss at Chicago. Trying to figure out the trends of this team against the spread has been mind-numbing this season but this should should be a bounce back night for the Thunder.

OKC Thunder | Game #41 Preview: Hawks

The Oklahoma City Thunder is 2-2 since returning from the NBA All-Star Break, but both losses have been by 20+ points to Eastern Conference teams fighting for a playoff spot. Tonight, the Thunder takes on the Hawks in Atlanta, and they have been one of the hottest teams in the league lately.

Thunder Against The Spread | OKC Looks Good At +5

I don’t love the Thunder here but I do like them. Atlanta has an overall better record against the spread on the road (8-7) than Oklahoma City does at home (6-9) but the Hawks are only 7-8 against the spread this season while the Thunder have made a living as underdogs (16-14).

OKC Thunder | Game #33 Preview: Hawks

Now, the Thunder is all set to host the Atlanta Hawks, who are fresh off a 127-112 victory over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. The Hawks feature a couple of connections with Oklahoma, including former Oklahoma Sooner Trae Young and form Thunder member Danilo Gallinari.
