Initial AP Poll | Oklahoma Sooners Earn No. 7 Ranking

On Monday, the Associated Press released the first poll of the 2018 college football season. The top of the list is littered with programs spanning the SEC as well as the Big Ten with a few others sprinkled in. However, it should come as no surprise that the Oklahoma Sooners weigh in as the top team in the Big 12 with the No. 7 ranking.

In total, four programs represent the Big 12 Conference in the initial AP Poll top twenty-five. Of course, it’ll be interesting to see how things play out as programs from across the country eliminate one another from title contention.
