The Oklahoma Sooners return home this weekend after opening the Big 12 Conference slate on the road. However, at least one recruit will be joining the thousands of fans descending on Gaylord Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Will the program impress the offensive lineman?

Hawaii native and offensive tackle, Enokk Vimahi holds 26 scholarship offers from around the country. In July, the prospect out of Kahuku High School trimmed the list to eight which included Oklahoma as well as Notre Dame and a host of programs along the west coast. It’s easy to see why the interest surrounding Vimahi continues to skyrocket as the kid weighs in as the No. 12 OT in the 2019 recruiting class according to 247Sports.
As it currently stands, many of the recruiting experts believe the Vimahi lands at Notre Dame. With a rich tradition of producing some of the best along the offensive line, it may be difficult to sway the recruit. Yet, the situation remains fluid as the ‘list is subject to change.’
