Last week was when it all came crashing down for us. Not only was Zack the only one to post a winning record over the weekend, he was the only one to post a win. Now we’re trying to bounce back this weekend by trending towards some large point spreads and the TCU Horned Frogs.
|Friday Locks Week 3 Results|
Stanford -1.5 @ Oregon
I’m not real big on the Ducks this year. They have tons of potential, but I’m not sure it’s going to come together this weekend. I’ve got Stanford winning this one by at least a touchdown.
TCU -3 @ Texas
Texas is back! Except, they’re not. I’d take TCU by a much larger spread. The Longhorns are full of confidence right now, but I’m afraid that’s going to come to an end this weekend.
Oklahoma State -14 Vs. Texas Tech
The Cowboys have looked super impressive thus far into the season. I doubted them a week ago, and they proved me wrong. I think Oklahoma State wins by three touchdowns on Saturday.
WVU (-16.5) vs Kansas State – The Wildcats have only crossed the goal line eight times this season through three games. Now they’ll face the best scoring defense by the numbers in the conference in West Virginia. With Will Grier at the center of the offense, it’s going to be a difficult task for KSU to keep pace.
Mississippi State (-10) vs Kentucky – The Wildcats may be 3-0 but it all comes crashing down this weekend. Are we really putting the spread at just ten?
Iowa (+3) vs Wisconsin – Continuing to turn the ball over Hornibrook has hindered this program recently. Against an unforgiving Iowa defense, I don’t expect the trend to change. Lastly, the Hawkeyes have the ability to shutdown Taylor and the rushing attack. It seems like the perfect matchup for Iowa this week.
TCU (-3) @ Texas: I’ll take the Horned Frogs on this line all day. The Longhorns are undoubtedly feeling themselves after knocking around USC last week, but no, Texas is not back, and TCU will win by double digits.
Stanford (-1.5) @ Oregon: The Cardinal got this one easy. Oregon will put up a fight, but this will be at least a touchdown game.
Arizona State @ Washington (-17): The Huskies are a better team by a lot, and the Sun Devils just aren’t that good. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a four-touchdown game.
Georgia (-14) at Missouri | The Bulldogs are rolling and showing no signs of slowing down. Especially for Missouri. This game will get ugly.
Clemson (-15.5) at Georgia Tech | Take what I said about Georgia and apply it to Clemson. The spread is low because of the style of play for Georgia Tech but the Tigers can score points in bunches…and they will.
TCU (-3) at Texas | I really didn’t know how to play Texas last week but I do this weekend. The Longhorns are coming off a huge win and the Frogs a huge loss. This is a classic letdown opportunity for Texas and three points for TCU just isn’t enough. Give me the Frogs by at least a touchdown.
