The Thunder has 36 nationally televised games throughout the course of the NBA season starting on October 16th. Get excited, because the Thunder’s schedule will feature several homecomings, fueled rivalries, newly acquired young talent, and a Christmas day matchup. With 8 days left till the regular season, be sure to mark your calendars for our #8-ranked game of the season, Oklahoma City vs Atlanta Hawks on November 30th.
The list of Thunder players coming to town for their “homecoming’s” is a bit gut wrenching, but when Atlanta comes to town, it may have a different feeling than others. Trae Young, the former lights out OU sharpshooter, will make his first return to Oklahoma since losing in the Big 12 tournament to Oklahoma State. Similar to Buddy Hield and Blake Griffin, it is expected Trae gets a warm welcome in his return, and hopefully he will put on a show for his hometown fans.
Dennis Schroeder playing his former team wont be on the front page of the newspaper, but it is certainly is something to look out for. Schroeder will make his return to Atlanta on January 10th as the two teams play once more.
