On Wednesday morning, De’Vion Harmon signed a letter of intent with the Oklahoma Sooners as the early signing period officially opened. Ranked as the nation’s No. 36th overall prospect, the 4-star product committed to play for Lon Kruger last November. Labeled as one of the premier point guards in the class, Harmon becomes an anchor for the future of the program.

Choosing to play for the Sooners, Harmon turned down offers from the likes of Wichita State as well as several other Big 12 Conference members. Taking to twitter, the prospect stated his reasoning behind the choice. “You’re taking a chance on the kid from Corinth, Texas and giving him his college basketball dream. Thank you to Coach Kruger and the coaching staff for taking a chance on a kid who just wants to achieve his dreams. I’m OFFICIALLY a Sooner!”
Possessing a favorable wingspan combined with top notch athleticism should allow Harmon to excel at the next level. Welcome aboard!
