Week 12 Picks
Zack
Kansas at Oklahoma (-35.5) | I hate picking games with such large spreads, but the Jayhawks are that bad. The Sooners have a ridiculous offense, and I think their defense should be good enough to keep Kansas from scoring more than a touchdown or two.
Iowa State (+2.5) at Texas | I’ll take the Cyclones straight up in this one. The Longhorns are on that downhill slide, and Iowa State is surging with the Big 12 Championship Game in mind.
Arizona at Washington State (-10.5) | Mike Leach has been legit lately, whether it be coaching his team to wins or dropping hilarious lines in his pressers. I’ll take the Cougars at home based on that alone.

UCF (-7) vs Cincy | I still don’t think the Black Knights are getting the respect the team deserves this season. Earlier in the season, I went on record stating there’s not a team on the schedule that could be UCF. Holding up their end of the bargain so far, I believe they get it done once again against a ranked foe.
Notre Dame (-10.5) vs Syracuse | It’s the .5 that worries me in this game as the Fighting Irish must win in order to keep the CFP hopes alive. WIthout a conference championship game, this is an important statement to make here in November for ND.
Utah State (-28.5) vs Colorado State | I may not know much about these teams but on thing I do know is that USU will win big here.

Iowa State +3.5 at Texas | Iowa State will be playing to keep their Big 12 Championship hopes alive this weekend. It’s always tough to play the Longhorns at home, but I think this Cyclones team is built for games like this. I’ll take Iowa State with the upset in Austin.
West Virginia -5 at Oklahoma State | The Mountaineers can’t afford another loss this season. That being said, the Cowboys can’t either. West Virginia will be looking to keep their conference championship hopes alive, while Oklahoma State will be looking to become bowl eligible. I think West Virginia comes out ready to go for a two score victory in Stillwater.
Syracuse +10.5 at Notre Dame | I’m really looking forward to this matchup this weekend. Notre Dame will look to solidify their playoff spot. However, Syracuse will look to spoil to the hopes of the Fighting Irish. I’m taking the Orange to pull off an upset on Saturday.

Ohio State (-14.5) at Maryland | I’m liking the Buckeyes in this game by about three touchdowns. Maryland is a program in turmoil and Ohio State is a program looking to retain their grip on the conference. I can see some muscle flexing going on here.
Northwestern (+2) at Minnesota | The Wildcats struggled on the road last week against Iowa and could very well see some struggles again this weekend. Even so, I like them by at least a field goal over the Gophers.
West Virginia (-4.5) at Oklahoma State | You’re going to look at this OSU team and honestly think they can stay within a touchdown of the Mountaineers? I’m not.
