|Friday Locks Week 12 Results|
Texas -15.5 @ Kansas | The Longhorns will secure a Big 12 Championship appearance with a win over Kansas on Friday. Texas will show up ready to play and come out with a big win over the Jayhawks.
Oklahoma -3 @ West Virginia | The biggest game this season in the Big 12 is taking place on Friday night. I expect this game to be full of offense and go back and forth the entire time. In my opinion, Oklahoma has what it takes to come out with a win this weekend.
Washington State -2.5 Vs. Washington | Oklahoma and West Virginia won’t be the only high scoring game on Friday night. This rivalry between the Cougars and the Huskies is guaranteed to be a “must see” game. I’ll take Washington State in a close win.
Washington at Washington State (-2.5) | Home field advantage is worth at least 3 points for Mike Leach and the Cougars. I’m taking Washington State in this season’s Apple Cup.
Florida (-6.5) at Florida State | I don’t care if this is a rivalry game, the Seminoles are not good enough to keep this game to within a touchdown. The Gators might blow this one wide open.
Kentucky (-17.0) at Louisville | The Wildcats have lost 2 of their last 3, and the Cardinals have won 6 of the last 7 against Kentucky in the Governor’s Cup, but Kentucky is the superior team this time, and it’s not even close. I’ll take the Wildcats by 4 touchdowns, so covering the spread shouldn’t be hard.
Georgia (-17) vs Georgia Tech | At this point of the season, the Bulldogs cannot afford a mishap. Hoping to get into the college football playoff, I believe the program will look for style points before a clash with Alabama. Needless to say, that means a big win for UGA.
Florida (-5.5) vs Florida State | The Seminoles bowl streak may be in jeopardy as the team hosts rival Florida. Expecting four quarters of hard fought football, the Gators simply possess the better talent. It’s what wins out in the end by more than five points.
Michigan (-4) vs Ohio State | On the road, the Wolverines are looking to prove they belong in the CFP. Pitting strength against strength, Michigan brings the top defense in the country while Ohio State possesses the second best offense. One must prevail and I’m riding with the Block M currently.
Kansas (+15.5) vs Texas | Will history repeat itself? Probably not, but this is a bad spot for Texas. The Longorns are on the road a week after a big win. Kansas is playing their final game with David Beaty. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a one score game.
Washington State (-2.5) vs. Washington | The Cougars are averaging 40.5 points per game this season and U-Dub is only allowing opponents to score an average of 16.6. I think this is a lower scoring affair but I still like Mike Leach and company by at least a field goal.
Ohio State (+4.5) vs. Michigan | Never underestimate a home dog in rivalry game. I still think the Wolverines pull this out but it’ll be by a field goal or less.
