Per a Thunder spokesperson, Andre Roberson suffered another setback yesterday after landing from a jump during a workout and experiencing some discomfort. He had an MRI that revealed a small avulsion fracture in his knee and he’ll be re-evaluated in another six weeks.

Per a Thunder spokesperson, Andre Roberson will be missing more time before he makes his long awaited return to the OKC active roster. This news comes just a few days after a video surfaced of Roberson taking some shots in the gym.
Roberson underwent an MRI that revealed he had a small avulsion fracture in his knee. He will be re-evaluated in six weeks.
While this certainly isn’t great news for Thunder fans, according to Royce Young, it doesn’t entirely reset the timetable for his return.
Roberson was progressing toward a return but was still some time away and while this setback is obviously unfortunate, it doesn’t entirely reset the timetable for him to come back. In six weeks the Thunder will have a clear picture of his expected return to play.

The hope would be that in six weeks the Thunder will know for sure when Roberson can return. Roberson is without a doubt the best defender on this team. Considering the success of Oklahoma City’s defense without Andre, one can only assume it would even get better with him on the court.
