You won’t have to wait very long to get a glimpse of several members of Oklahoma’s 2019 recruiting class. According to Bob Przybylo there will be nine members of the class that currently ranks 3rd nationally (according to Rivals) on campus for the spring semester.
Three of Oklahoma’s 5-star recruits are involved in that group. Receivers Trejan Bridges, Theo Wease, and Jadon Haselwood are all ranked 5-star and will immediately begin their collegiate careers at Oklahoma.
More importantly, defensive recruits Derek Green (3-star), LaRon Stokes (3-star), Jonathan Perkins (3-star), and Jamal Morris (4-star) will be on campus for the first ever practices under new defensive coordinator Alex Grinch.
Another important name is Finley Felix. The Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College transfer has a chance to make an immediate impact on a depleted Oklahoma offensive line.
Oklahoma is looking to finish 2019 with one of the highest ranked classes since the turn of the century. With targets like David Ugwoegbu still out there, the Sooners are still in the hunt to improve an already spectacular 2019 class.
