That One Hurt The Worst
Baylor won the first matchup of the season, 77-47, on Jan. 28 in Norman. The loss was Oklahoma’s worse of the season and set the Bears up to possibly sweep the Sooners for just the fourth time in program history.

Manek Is The Key
Coming off his fifth double-double of the season (11 points/11 boards) against Texas Tech on Saturday, the Sooners often find success when Manek does.
During his career, OU is 22-9 when Manek scores in double figures, 14-3 when he scores at least 15 points and 8-2 when he hit four or more 3-pointers.
Oklahoma (15-9, 3-8) is led by senior guard Christian James who is averaging team highs in both scoring and rebounding with 15.6 points and 7 rebounds per game.
Manek is the only other player on OU’s roster currently averaging double figures in scoring. He’s producing 11.6 points per game.
Freshman guard Jamal Bieniemy continues to pace the team with an average of 3.1 assists per game.
