The Oklahoma City Thunder is hurting after dropping a third consecutive game on Thursday night. This is only the third time this season that the Thunder has lost 3 consecutive games, and since starting the season 0-4, OKC has not lost 4 in a row. Tonight might challenge that stat, however, as the Thunder takes on the Spurs in San Antonio.

The Spurs have lost 7 of their last 9, but the first 8 of those were on the road, and the most recent one was at home, which was a win. San Antonio has one of the best home records in the NBA at 23-7, so the Thunder has their work cut out from them.

In the two matchups so far this season, LaMarcus Aldridge has been the X-factor. When the Spurs won in double overtime in San Antonio, Aldridge went off for 56 points. When the Thunder won 2 days after that in Oklahoma City, Aldridge was held to just 17 points. If the Thunder cannot focus on Aldridge and figure out a way to stop him, they could be in for a long night.
