During the Spring Game on April 13, the Oklahoma Sooners will take the field for the first time since Jalen Hurts announced his intentions to transfer. Showcasing a new set of names at various offensive positions, fans will fill the stadium holding the opportunity to see the program in action once again. However, there’s more in store throughout the duration of the day.
Staying true to the format implemented a year ago under Lincoln Riley, the university will play host to country music artist, Lee Brice. Running from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM, the stage will be located on the turf instead of in the north bleachers this year. The concert leads right into the game as the stage is whisked away just before kickoff.
In addition, Heisman Trophy representatives will be on hand to present the university with it’s copy of Kyler Murray’s trophy. Alongside the official presentation, fans will be able to pose with the statuette on the day of the game from noon until the end of the first quarter.
Last but not least, Coach Riley has autographed more than a few footballs which will be tossed into the stands during the game. Will you be lucky enough to catch one?
