As the world awaits to see where Kyler Murray lands in next month’s NFL Draft, another former Oklahoma quarterback as found a new home. On Tuesday morning the Oakland Raiders announced that they had signed Landry Jones as a backup quarterback.
The Raiders have been on a bit of a shopping spree as of late when it comes to quarterbacks. In addition to Jones they’ve also recently signed Nathan Peterman and Mike Glennon.
In five seasons with the Pittsbrugh Steelers, Jones completed 63.9% of his passes for 1,310 touchdowns, with 8 touchdowns to 7 interceptions.
