Oklahoma City outscored Indiana 31-15 in the third quarter Wednesday night to pop open a parachute on their free fall in the Western Conference playoff seedings. Now, they may be forced to overcome the loss of an All-Star player when they host the Denver Nuggets Friday night.
Paul George missed OKC’s game against Philadelphia on February 28th, with right shoulder soreness, and is now questionable again for the same issue in the left shoulder.
George leads the Thunder in minutes played per game this season at 36.7. In Wednesday’s win over the Pacers he logged 39 minutes while scoring a game-high 31 points.
Averaging 28.2 points per game, George is Oklahoma City’s leading scorer on the season.
With a 44-31 record the Thunder currently posses the 7th seed in the West.
