Donovan Green just received his first scholarship offer from a Big 12 school, but undoubtedly there will be more to follow. The 6-3/200 tight end from Dickenson, Texas recently only held offers from Illinois State and William & Mary but Oklahoma changed that by jumping in early in the recruiting process.
An extremely athletic tight end, that will remind many Oklahoma fans or Jermaine Gresham, Green is undoubtedly about to see a boom in his recruitment.
Led by junior Grant Calcaterra, Oklahoma currently has five tight ends on the roster. Calcaterra is most likely gone to the NFL after this season which will give way to the rise of Austin Stogner for 2020 and 21 before he’ll possibly need to make a decision about his professional future. That timing would fit just perfect for Green to arrive in the 2022 class.
