Last Saturday, at Kansas, grad transfer R.J. Proctor started at left tackle for the Sooners, Brey Walker at right guard, and Tyrese Robinson at right tackle for the second-straight game. It appears that the Red River Rivalry game with Texas could make it a third-straight if we’re to take Lincoln Riley at his word when it comes to injuries.
When meeting with the media on Monday, Riley said that starting tackles Adrian Ealy and Erik Swenson were, “highly questionable” to return for Oklahoma’s biggest rivalry game.
“I don’t see either of those guys extremely out long-term, but they’re dealing with more than a bump or a scratch,” Riley said on the two injuries.
The Sooners have been dealing with injuries along the offensive line since the season opener against Houston. The result has been five different starting lineups through the first five games of the season.
