In an announcement that we all saw coming, the Big 12 named Oklahoma receiver CeeDee Lamb as the Offensive Player of the Week on Monday for his performance against Texas.
Lamb hauled in a career-high 10 catches for 171 yards and three touchdowns, which also ties a career high, in Oklahoma’s 34-27 win over the Longhorns.
In addition to the conference honor, Lamb was also named as the National Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the Walter Camp Football Foundation on Sunday. He becomes the ninth player from Oklahoma to earn the award since 2004.
