In addition to CeeDee Lamb earning conference and national recognition this week, Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts and linebacker Kenneth Murray were also awarded weekly honors from the Big 12 Conference.
Hurts was 16 for 28 passing, with 235 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. He also ran the ball 17 times for 131 yards (the most rushing yards by an Oklahoma quarterback vs. Texas and a Cotton Bowl Stadium collegiate record by a QB) and another touchdown. He finished the day with 366 yards of total offense which was 61 yards more than Texas had as a team.
Murray recorded his sixth career game with at least two tackles for loss in leading the Oklahoma defense to tie a school record with nine sacks while also recording 15 tackles for loss which was the second most ever against Texas.
Monday marked the second weekly honor from the Big 12 for Murray and the fourth for Jalen Hurts.
