Oklahoma was already sitting on a great 2020 football recruiting class but it just got better. Frisco, Texas receiver Marvin Mims made his decision public on Thursday night via Twitter.
Mims has a 5-11/161 frame and is rated as the nation’s 43rd ranked receiver prospect and the 37th overall prospect from the state of Texas by 247Sports, who also has him listed as a 4-star prospect.
Possessing 30 scholarship offers, Mims was committed to Stanford before making the flip to Oklahoma. Recruited by Cale Gundy, Mims turned down offers from Baylor, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Utah among others to commit to the Sooners.
He’ll join Trevon West and Brian Darby as receivers in a 2020 Oklahoma class that currently ranks #10 nationally.
