Securing a commitment from a prominent name on Thanksgiving Day, Reggie Grimes II becomes the most recent addition to the 2020 Class.
Grimes II, four star recruit out of Tennessee, remains one of the country’s top athletes when it comes to the measurables. Knowing the Sooners favor a ‘Speed D,’ the talents of Grimes fit in well. Able to pursue and eventually track down ball carriers, the versatile defensive end holds 21 offers from various members of the Power 5 Conferences. However, the commitment may surprise a few as Grimes II’s father played at the University of Alabama.
