Marrero, Louisiana (John Ehret High School) safety Kaine Williams has 20 scholarship offers but he’s made the decision to focus his attention on six of them the rest of the way. The 4-star 2021 recruit announced on Friday that he’d narrowed his decision down to Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M.
Williams has drawn scholarship offers from schools in four of the Power 5 conferences and the fact that Oklahoma is the only non-S.E.C. program to make the list speaks towards the rapport that Alex Grinch is building on the recruiting trail.
Williams (6-2/192) is ranked as the #3 safety prospect in the nation and the #4 overall prospect from the state of Louisiana for 2021. In 2019, as a high school junior, he recorded 50 total tackles, 10 pass breakups, 4 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles.
Thought to be a heavy lean towards LSU, the most impressive aspect of the Sooners still being in the mix is that they didn’t offer Williams until just over a month ago.

We can hope for OU. LSU has lost alot of assistant coaches.. ?
That’s very strong point!
