Oklahoma Sooners Make Cut For No. 1 Offensive Guard In 2021 Recruiting Class

Under the direction of Bill Bedenbaugh, the offensive line at the University of Oklahoma has produced numerous NFL caliber players. The simple fact remains one reason why players from across the country consistently consider Norman as a top destination. Looking at the 2021 recruiting class, the trend is once again playing out as Bryce Foster’s top five included the Sooners.

A 5-star recruit, Foster is the nation’s premier offensive guard and No. 9 overall prospect in the class according to Rivals. Possessing the size required at the collegiate level, the lineman often overwhelms defenders on the high school level. Drawn toward the size and strength, 19 different programs have submitted official scholarship offers to the Katy, Texas native.

However, it appears as though Foster plans to stay relatively close to home. Listing a top five with Rivals, the guard citing a high interest in Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas, and LSU. The one outlier of the group sits on west coast as Oregon rounds out the top five.
