Week two of the XFL is officially complete, and there was absolutely no let down in entertainment from week one. The second week of XFL football brought us more big hits, more sideline entertainment, and more of the game we love.
A few teams separated themselves from the middle of the pack this weekend, while others showed they are deserving of a spot at the bottom. Here are your week two power rankings.
1. DC Defenders (2-0)
The Defenders have been the most dominant team throughout the first two weeks. They’ve produced 58 points on offense, while only giving up 19 on defense. If Cardale Jones continues to play at this level, I’m not sure anyone can beat DC.
2. Houston Roughnecks (2-0)
The Roughnecks were tested by the Battlehawks this week. Houston found a way to come out on top and to become one of the two unbeaten teams in the XFL.
3. Dallas Renegades (1-1)
The Renegades have been solid on defense each of the last two weeks. The main concern for Dallas has been the offense. They showed some encouraging signs with Landry Jones in the lineup, but still have much room for improvement.
4. St. Louis Battlehawks (1-1)
5. NY Guardians (1-1)
6. Seattle Dragons (1-1)
7. Tampa Bay Vipers (0-2)
8. LA Wildcats (0-2)
