It turns out that Oklahoma wasn’t finished with the 2020 recruiting class after all. On Friday Marcellus Crutchfield announced that he will be attending the University of Oklahoma to continue his academic and athletic career.
The son of former Oklahoma All-American defensive tackle, Gerald McCoy, Crutchfield has made a name for himself on the offensive side of the ball. According to MaxPreps, he caught 61 passes for 1,225 yards and 8 touchdowns in two seasons of high school football. Last season made up the bulk of those stats with 46 catches for 902 yards and 5 scores, with an average of 19.6 yards per catch.
Oklahoma’s 2020 recruiting class ranked 11th nationally per 247Sports.
