Beggs, Oklahoma Star Includes State Schools In Top 12

Kendal Daniels has narrowed his 24 scholarship offers down to 12 schools that he’s interested in. The Beggs, Oklahoma 4-star athlete included both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State in his Final 12.

247Sports has Daniels listed as the #2 prospect from the state of Oklahoma, behind Sooners’ commit Ethan Downs (Weatherford), and the #4 safety prospect in the 2021 recruiting class.

At 6-4/190 Daniels has the type of size that Alex Grinch is trying to reload the Oklahoma defense with. The Sooners aren’t the only local team knocking on his door though. Oklahoma State offered him nearly four months before Grinch and OU did. The Cowboys offered on February 19th of last year and the Sooners jumped in with an offer on June 13th.

Backed by good ball skills, Daniels possesses the type of athleticism that allows him to play both sides of the ball in high school. While most college coaches are looking to him to play on the defensive side of the ball, he is also enjoying offensive success as a prep.

Daniels seems to be leaning towards staying in the state of Oklahoma to play college ball, and the Sooners look to be the favorite at this point.
