While the NFL Draft was gaining everyone’s attention Thursday night, rumors began to swirl on social media about a potential knee injury to a key Oklahoma football player.

Those rumors gained significant validity when Carey Murdock from SoonerScoop.com confirmed that something actually had happened to Jadon Haselwood during a home workout.

While full details and severity of the injury are still pending, it’s safe to say that this news is unsettling. Haselwood is expected to be a key figure in Oklahoma’s 2021 offensive attack after playing in 13 games last season as a true freshman (averaging 14.3 yards per reception).
