Oklahoma Sooners Football | Creed Humphrey Labeled Preseason All-American

Preseason awards are rolling out well ahead of the upcoming college football season once again. As players across the country await the numerous releases, a few names have already been mentioned including that of Creed Humphrey.

An offensive lineman at the University of Oklahoma, Humphrey possesses an extremely high ceiling. Setting the tone for the rest of the offense in terms of physicality, the center has been labeled as a “wall” by some personalities on the internet. It’s the style of play alongside an unrivaled drive on each and every down that landed Humphrey on the Walter Camp Preseason All-America First-Team.

A home grown product out of Shawnee, Oklahoma, the redshirt junior is expected to be a first round draft pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. While this is the first list Humphrey’s name appears on in the preseason, it won’t be the last.

Previously, the center was named a finalist in 2019 for Rimington Trophy which is given annually to the nation’s premiere center. Humphrey also earned Walter Camp All-America honors during the same campaign.
