Oklahoma State Cowboys | Tylan Wallace Added To Initial Biletnikoff Award Watch List

On July 16th, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation added 55 names to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List. Featuring some established players and others expected to have a breakout season, the award recognizes the most outstanding FBS receiver regardless of position.

It should come as no surprise that Tylan Wallace finds himself of the Biletnikoff Award Watch List during the preseason months. During the 2018 campaign, the Oklahoma State receiver was named a finalist for the prestigious honor. Putting up numbers worthy of consideration during the following year, the now senior suffered a season-ending injury. Forced to the sideline, Wallace slowed faded into the background of the conversation.

Through eight games, Wallace managed to secure 53 passes while racking up 903 yards of offense. At the time, the number of receiving yards paced the rest of league. Crossing the goal line eight times, no other receiver on the roster found a way to pick up the slack left behind. Knowing this, a sigh of relieve was breathed when Wallace announced he’d be returning to Stillwater for one more year.

Coming back with a vengeance in one final season, the star Cowboy wide out is one of five players representing the Big 12 on the watch list.
