Oklahoma/Army Game Will Be Without Fans

If you were planning to make a college football trip of a lifetime to watch Oklahoma play Army at West Point then your dreams have officially been crushed. On Tuesday New York Governor Andrew Cuomo banned fans from attending any sporting events in the state of New York.

Oklahoma’s matchup with Army is the second half a home-and-home which began with a game in Norman in 2018. The Sooners won that game by a final score of 28-21 in overtime. No one was expecting that to be the thriller it was and many fans had made plans to travel to West Point hoping the rematch would yield another Oklahoma win while taking in one of the most historic and prestigious campuses in the nation.

OU is scheduled to play at Army, in what would be the third game of the season, on September 26th.
