Setting the Stage
The no. 14 Oklahoma State Cowboys (4-1) are fresh off a heartbreaking overtime loss last weekend to the Texas Longhorns, but their focus is renewed as all eyes are on today’s matchup against the Kansas State Wildcats (4-2).
Kansas State has had an interesting season thus far, dropping their season opener to Arkansas State before knocking off Oklahoma the very next week. Since then, the Wildcats have moved to 4-2 on the season after dropping an embarrassing 37-10 decision to the West Virginia Mountaineers in Morgantown a week ago.
Both the Cowboys and the Mountaineers look to rebound today, and despite Manhattan being one of the tougher college towns to play in, I expect Oklahoma State to enter today’s game with a renewed energy with nothing but a win on their minds.
