With Kansas State on the docket, the Cowboys weren’t exactly given much of a chance for a win in their fifth game of the season. The Wildcats were 12-point favorites in Stillwater on Friday night, but that did not matter as Alan Bowman fueled the offense from start to finish, and the defense stood tall when it mattered most to give the Cowboys a 29-21 victory.

Oklahoma State is going to have to do A LOT to pull out a win in this one. Kansas State has a well-balanced offense, so getting stops will be imperative for the Cowboys. The primary focus, however, needs to be the run game. The Wildcats have the best rushing defense in the conference right now, but they also have the worst passing defense. If Oklahoma State can establish even a smidge of a ground game, then the air raid will open up, and the Cowboys can have a chance to score and make this a game.

The no. 10 Oklahoma State Cowboys entered their homecoming game on Saturday as a 6-point underdog to the no. 20 Texas Longhorns, and despite trailing 31-24 at the half, the Cowboys were able to put together quite a second half performance to come away with a 41-34 win. Texas managed just 3 points in the second half as Oklahoma State scored the final 17 points and pulled in two interceptions in the final 83 seconds of the game.
