I’ve often said that if you could buy the Texas football program for what it’s actually worth and then sell it for what the fans, administration, and alumni think it is worth then you could make a ton of money. This morning on College Game Day ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit went all in on unrealistic expectations.
Sooner Nation, and the rest of the Big 12, came to this conclusion a long time ago but it’s nice to see some of the national media coming around to it as well. Now the fun part is going to be watching livid Texas fans argue about how wrong Herbie is without realizing they are actually proving his point.
