Oklahoma Sooners Football | A Second Offensive Lineman Declares For 2021 NFL Draft

The Oklahoma Sooners are losing yet another offensive lineman to the upcoming NFL Draft. This time it’s redshirt junior Adrian Ealy, a player with the ability to assume the role of tackle on either side of the line.

Announcing the decision via twitter, Ealy said, “After prayer and long considerations with family, I have decided to declare for the 2021 NFL Draft. Ever since I was a kid, my dream has been to play in the NFL, and I am excited to chase that dream!”

Starting nine games at right tackle and a single game at left tackle, Ealy earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors in 2020. It followed up the same dubbing from the previous season as the Louisiana native displayed a high level of consistency.

Possessing a lengthy frame and limbs, fans witnessed Ealy find success in the trench by forcing defenders to take long routes around him. However, the prospect is still considered a raw talent by most including The Draft Network. It will be interesting to see where Ealy lands in this year’s draft.
