Oklahoma Sooners Offer Rising 2022 Tight End Prospect

Less than a week ago, the Oklahoma Sooners officially welcomed a familiar face in Joe Jon Finley to the coaching staff. Taking over the role of coaching tight ends and H-backs, the former player began evaluating talent from across the nation. Settling in on a target, Finley made the first offer of his career in the crimson and cream!

The scholarship offer was extended to 2022 recruit, Kaden Helms out of Bellevue, Nebraska. Currently rated as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports, the tight end stands 6-5 with room to add weight and strength to his large frame. Tabbed a rising star, Helms grabbed the attention of the Big XII as seven schools from the conference showed intrigue. With ten other programs vying for the commitment outside of the league, it’s anyone’s guess as to where Helms will commit.

For the 2022 cycle, the Sooners have received four verbal commitments. Looking to log another one, Joe Jon Finley is proving he came to work. Will the immediate effort pay off in the long run?
