Oklahoma used a running back by committee approach while waiting for Rhamondre Stevenson’s suspension to come to an end. T.J. Pledger was a key member of that running back group. He helped the Sooners snap a two-game losing streak by running for 131 yards and two scores in the 53-45 win over Texas. Then a week later he posted 122 yards and one powerful touchdown in OU’s 33-14 thumping of TCU.
That touchdown checks in at #16 on our Top 20 Plays of the 2020 Season.
Pledger would end the season with 451 rushing yards (4.7 YPC) and 5 rushing touchdowns.
