Oklahoma Football Top Plays Of 2020 | #17 Tre Brown Closes The Door On Texas

Not only do we have another defensive play in our countdown of the Top 20 Plays for Oklahoma Football in 2020, we’ve also got another play from the epic Red River Rivalry game.

Leading by eight points in the fourth overtime Sooner corner Tre Brown stepped in front of an overthrown Sam Ehlinger pass in the end zone to secure a 53-45 Oklahoma win.

Many will say that this was the game that righted the ship for the Sooners and I certainly can’t disagree with them. After dropping back-to-back games against Kansas State and Iowa State a loss to Texas could have been the final nail in the coffin in terms of a sixth consecutive conference title. Instead OU found themselves and used this game as the launching pad to go undefeated through the remainder of the season.

It wasn’t just an epic end to an epic game, it was also the beginning of something even greater for the Sooners!
