Patty Gasso isn’t sitting around and waiting. After Oklahoma’s next four games were postponed on Wednesday the softball program went scrambling for an opponent, or opponents, to fill the scheduling void. Now we know who has answered the call as Gasso’s Sooners are heading to Louisiana for two Saturday games.
Ruston, Louisiana is the destination as Oklahoma will face Mississippi State at 12:30 p.m. CT Saturday before playing against Lousiana Tech on their home field at 3 p.m. Mississippi State is 19-15 on the season and is heading to Ruston after its series with Tennessee was postponed due to COVID concerns within the Vols program. Louisiana Tech is 13-16 on the season but has won four of its last seven games.
