The Oklahoma City Thunder suffered another blowout loss on Wednesday, a 147-109 decision at home against the Golden State Warriors. The 8th consecutive loss extends the worst losing streak for the Thunder since the inaugural season back in 2008. Unfortunately, it’s probably not going to get much better than this as we roll into the final 31 days of the season.

Tonight, the Thunder takes on the Detroit Pistons on the road. The Pistons are 16-39, dead last in the Eastern Conference standings, but they handled the Thunder just fine in OKC 2 weeks ago. Tonight’s matchup will look a little differently, though, as the Pistons are missing a handful of players to injury, so maybe the Thunder can pull out a miracle and get a win.

Still, winning is not really the goal right now for the Thunder organization. I’m sure fans are tired of hearing it, but at this point, there are very few longterm benefits to winning games, whereas losing them can greatly benefit the future of the organization. Either way, we stay loyal and press on toward a better future.
