Saturday’s spring football game will be a true battle of offense vs. defense as the two sides battle it out to determine who will be the 2021 Red/White champion. In this edition of the annual game Oklahoma’s defense will be in red and the offense will be wearing white. While touchdowns and field goals will count as they usually do for the offense the defense is going to have an adjusted scoring system where they get 3 points for turnovers, 4th down stops, and missed field goals. The defense will also get 6 points if they score a touchdown and the typical 2 points for a safety.
The spring game is set for a 4:00 pm start and you’ll want to make sure that you don’t show up late as it will only feature two 15-minute halves. If you cannot make it in person you’ll be able to tune in to watch on Bally Sports Oklahoma (formerly FOX Sports Oklahoma).
