Oklahoma’s Top 2023 Recruit Commits To Sooners

If you’ve been following our site, or podcast, for a while then Luke Hasz committing to Oklahoma isn’t going to be a surprise to you. On Friday afternoon Hasz confirmed that he was one of three eyeball emojis sent out Thursday by Lincoln Riley on Twitter with a verbal commitment to play for the Sooners. Posting on social media that he was “staying home” Hasz became the third member of OU’s 2023 recruiting class.

A 6-3/220 tight end from Bixby, Hasz is the 247Sports composite #2 tight end in the recruiting class. The 32 scholarship offers that he holds speaks to his potential as Oklahoma beat out the likes of Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Ohio State and many others to earn his commitment.

As a sophomore in 2020, Hasz caught 32 passes for 703 yards and 9 touchdowns, helping Bixby win the 6A-II state championship.
