The Oklahoma City Thunder made franchise history on Wednesday night as they rallied from a 26-point deficit near the end of the second quarter against the Los Angeles Lakers before getting the 123-115 win. While winning is not exactly an expectation this season for the Thunder faithful, it was a pretty incredible way to put one in the win column.

Tonight’s matchup is the start of a 3-game West Coast road trip as the Thunder takes on the Golden State Warriors. These two teams met earlier this week—a 106-98 win for the Warriors—so it will be interesting to see if much has changed since Tuesday.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander already appears to be in midseason form, and rookie Josh Giddey is coming along nicely. Giddey became the youngest player since Lebron James to dish out 10 assists when he did against the Lakers on Wednesday, and he’s garnering some national media attention because of it.

The key to being competitive tonight will be keeping Steph Curry from knocking down too much shots from downtown, and Luguentz Dort is just the man for the job. If Dort can hold Curry below his season average, who knows, the Thunder might mess around and grab another win.
