4-Star 2022 Receiver Flips From Oregon To Oklahoma

Nicholas Anderson liked what he saw last weekend when he visited Oklahoma and apparently the feeling was mutual for the Sooners. On Monday Lincoln Riley and company offered Anderson a scholarship and the Katy, Texas product quickly swapped his colors from Oregon green to crimson and cream.

The younger brother of former Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson, Nicholas Anderson is ranked as a composite 4-star recruit by 247Sports. Possessing 29 scholarship offers, the 6-4/195 receiver had been committed to Oregon since July.

A two-sport athlete who also runs track, Anderson helped Katy win the Texas 6A D-II state championship as a junior. Among the other schools who were actively recruiting was Notre Dame, Penn State, and USC. Anderson is the 17th verbal commitment to the 2022 recruiting class for the Sooners.
