Oklahoma woke from a slumber Saturday night and demolished Kent State by a final score of 33-3. After punting on the first four offensive possession of the game, the Sooners scored on the next five consecutive drives to bury the Golden Flashes. Led by Dillon Gabriel’s 296 passing yards, Oklahoma’s offense racked up 430 total yards at a pace of 7.15 yards per play.
Danny Stutsman led a relentless defensive attack that held Kent State to just three points and only 295 total yards of offense. Stutsman led the Sooner defense with 12 total tackles, four of them being for loss, and a quarterback sack.
