Craig
Arkansas (+2.5) at Texas A&M | Texas A&M has already lost at home once this season. I think Arkansas comes in and hands them another loss at Kyle Field.
USC (-6.5) at Oregon State | The Trojans have looked impressive to start the season. This will be their first true road test, but I think they’ll handle it just fine.
Utah (-14.5) at Arizona State | Arizona State isn’t exactly in the best place right now. Running backs Coach Shaun Aguano took over on Sunday. I’m not sure that’s enough time to get ready to host the #13 team in the nation.
Matt
Baylor (+2.5) at Iowa State | The home teams have won the last four matchups in this series and that certainly favors the Cyclones. However, I’m still not buying in on ISU just yet. I think this is an ugly game where the defense sets the tone. Give me the Bears to grind out a narrow victory.
Wake Forest (+7) vs. Clemson | This is strength on strength with the Wake Forest offense against the Clemson defense. The Demon Deacons are averaging 42 points per game on average while the Tigers are giving up just 14. I think Sam Hartman and company keep this one close and will have an opportunity to pull the upset near the end of the game.
Texas Tech (+7) vs. Texas | I like Texas to win but I also like Texas Tech to keep in close in Lubbock. Look for the Red Raiders to try and put the clamps on Bijan Robinson and produce just enough offense to make the Longhorns uncomfortable. I can see Texas walking this off with a late score, giving them a victory that comes in just under the spread.
Zack
Baylor (+2.5) at Iowa State | I knew that Baylor was going to struggle this season, and while I think they have been overrated to a point, I don’t think they’re losing to a rebuilding Cyclone team, even if it is in Ames.
Texas (-7) at Texas Tech | In no way, shape, or form do I believe that Texas is “back,” but I do believe they’re way better than Texas Tech. This should be a blowout.
Oklahoma (-12.5) vs. Kansas State | I’m a glutton for punishment, so I’m taking Oklahoma again this week. The Sooners proved me right last week when I predicted a blowout in Omaha, and while K-State will keep it closer than Nebraska did, I’m still seeing a big win at homme for OU.
