Why the Thunder Will Cover (+8.5)
The Thunder is going to LIVE as an underdog this season, much like last season. Also like last season, I expect OKC to cover the spread far more often than they don’t, and while I believe Minnesota is eventually going to be a pretty solid team, I wouldn’t be shocked if the Thunder not only covered the spread tonight but won the game…IF Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (questionable; left hip contusion) plays.
Staff Picks
Why the Game Will Hit the Over (227.5)
The Thunder is a young team that is still learning how to play team defense. The Timberwolves have given up a lot of points in their first two games. The point total seems a little high for my liking, but I think OKC will continue to find their shot tonight, which results in a lot of points for both sides.
