Oklahoma reached into the transfer portal and to the prep level to land a set of highly-coveted brothers for the 2023 recruiting class. Dasan and Daeh McCullough made their decision public on Monday night after spending the weekend in Norman. Dasan will be a transfer from Indiana and Daeh will join the team as a true freshman.
A Freshman All-American at Indiana, Dasan McCulough is ranked as the #9 overall player in the transfer portal by 247Sports after collecting 48 tackles and four sacks before hitting the portal. He had over 40 scholarship offers coming out of high school and He will arrive to Norman with four years of eligibility remaining. He becomes the third player Oklahoma has snagged from the transfer portal, joining defensive lineman Jacob Lacey (Notre Dame) and tight end Austin Stogner (South Carolina).
Younger brother Daeh becomes the 23rd member of Oklahoma’s 2023 prep recruiting class. Collecting twenty scholarship offers, 247Sports has him ranked as the #34 safety prospect in the class and the #4 overall prospect from the state of Indiana. He’s flipping his commitment from Cincinnati to Oklahoma after also receiving offers from the likes of Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, and Penn State.
The Sooners currently have the #7 composite recruiting class and the #1 transfer portal class per 247Sports.
