Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (+4)

The Kings are rolling right now, so that makes the Thunder’s task to cover the spread that much more difficult, but the fact that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is out makes me wonder how the spread is even as small as it is. OKC relies a lot on SGA’s ability to score at will, and without that, the offense has to adjust not just in who scores but in how they play in some ways. The Thunder definitely has the ability to not only cover the spread but win the game, but I’m just not seeing that happen tonight.

Staff Picks

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (239.5)

Sacramento scored 176 points on Friday night. Need I continue? But seriously, the Kings put up a ton of points on Friday, which makes sense considering they’re the highest-scoring team in the league. On the other side, it might be difficult, but OKC can still score plenty without SGA. I think this one hits the over on the point total easily.
