Thunder Against the Spread | Take the Thunder in a Close One

This one seems almost too easy for me. OKC has won 4 of the last 5, and Sacramento has lost 4 of the last 5. While it is likely time for something to give one way or the other, I’m just not seeing it tonight. Despite the Thunder missing several key players to health and safety protocols (Josh Giddey, Darius Bazley, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, etc.), the best player in the matchup is active: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #33 Preview: Sacramento Kings

The Oklahoma City Thunder is ending 2021 on a pleasant note, or at least it appears that way, as they have won 4 of their 5 last with the only loss coming to the Phoenix Suns, who hold the NBA’s best record. Right know, with 3 games left to play this week, OKC has a 6-6 record for December, and this is probably about as close as they’re going to get all season to going .500 or better in a month. They have a decent shot at it, too, starting with Tuesday night’s matchup in Sacramento against the Kings.

Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #11 Preview: Sacramento Kings

It’s hard to tell if the Oklahoma City Thunder are even trying to tank after grabbing a 108-100 win on the road against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday. The win was OKC’s third in a row and puts the Thunder at 4-6 on the season. Last season, the Thunder had just one 3-game winning streak, and that was the longest of the season. Tonight, they have a chance to beat that mark when they host the Sacramento Kings.

Thunder Against The Spread | A Similar Result Could Be Coming At Sacramento

Once again this comes down to simple semantics. Just like the Golden State Warriors set last week, OKC is coming off a blowout loss and has to take the court again, on the road, against the same team. There’s nothing here to lead someone to believe the Thunder can cover. OKC could have Dort back in the lineup tonight but they are without point guard Theo Maledon. Is that enough to make up 17 points from Sunday’s performance? I don’t believe that it is.

OKC Thunder | Game #70 Preview: Kings

For the third time in 8 days, the Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the Sacramento Kings this evening for the Thunder’s final road game of the season. Despite the Kings sitting at 12th in the Western Conference and the Thunder at 13th in the Western Conference, the two teams have very different motives headed into tonight’s matchup.

Thunder Against The Spread | Is A Manageable Spread Against The Kings A Trap?

I’m really torn here because based on trends this is a game where Oklahoma City should cover. I’m scared by the 4.5 line though because that means the Thunder will be in a position to win and you can’t really deny that they don’t really want to do that. In fact, I would go so far as to say that the last thing they want to do is mess around and accidentally win this game.

Luguentz Dort Shines as Thunder Rolls in Sacramento

The Oklahoma City Thunder (29-20) got off to a slow start against the Sacramento Kings (17-30) on Wednesday night, but a career-night from Luguentz Dort and a hot second half gave the boys in blue the 120-100 victory and their sixth consecutive road win.

Mavericks Drown Thunder with Barrage from Downtown

Monday’s night matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks started by honoring Kobe Bryant just a day after a helicopter crash that took his life, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and 7 others.
