They ran through the field, including #1 UCLA, racking up a 5-0 record for the event with all but the Utah game, a 10-3 final, coming by way of a run-rule victory. Now, Oklahoma is in Norman for the first time this season as the Sooners host the OU Tournament with the featured guest being #16 Kentucky.

What We Learned Last Weekend
- Storako Was A Massive Acquisition. We knew this pitching staff was going to be really good but Alex Storako may be the arm that pushes them towards being the best unit in the nation. Last weekend the former Michigan ace collected two wins in three appearances and 10 innings pitched with wins vs. UCLA and CSU-Fullerton, striking out a combined 11 with no runs allowed, one walk and six hits. For the season she is 4-0 in the circle with an ERA of 0.34 and 26 strikeouts. On Monday she was named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week.
- Power for Days! Oklahoma launched six home runs against UCLA last Sunday. Four of them came in the second inning, producing six runs in the frame.
- #1. Oklahoma’s 14-0 thrashing of UCLA left no doubt as to who the #1 team in the nation is. The Sooners have been the No. 1 team in both major rankings for 32 of the last 33 polls dating back to March 2, 2021.
